The Silver City Angling Club is open to everyone - young and old!
Various other species were caught on the two day sea angling trip and has already been provisionally booked for the same time next year and we will be asking for names very shortly - so watch this space and of course the Newsletter which goes out monthly to all members. The skate was then measured, weighed and drinks all round were distributed (tea of course) Whisky tea that is. The skate was caught by Garry Christie who then passed the rod onto Chris Jenkins who eventually landed this 177lb female skate. I have a funny feeling that we will not hear the end of this for a long time to come - well done to you both!
